Only food that doesn't make my dog sick

This excellent food is the only food that my boy can eat. Worth every penny!

Benefits are easy to see

I started my dog (4yr old 100 lb mix breed) on this food because of her awful skin and coat (flaking dull) additionally she has had some issues with gas and vomiting with other foods. We went through several foods but this was the first food that she tolerated incredibly well even noticed a difference in stool. Skin and coat improved with the first bag, more noticeable with longer use.

Life changing for my dog!

This food has basically eliminated the excessive gas and inconsistent stools my dog had. It has also helped with chewing and scratching due to allergies.

Helped our older hound overcome IBS

2 years ago, we adopted a 7 year old plotthound. For a year we fed her Iams and her stomach was fine. However, last August we noticed she started having random bouts of bloody diarrhea, not wanting to eat, and a grumbly tummy. After lots of testing and miserable weeks for her being sick on and off, the vet said she probably had IBS caused by a combination of anxiety and an aging stomach. We tried several special foods, each for about 6 weeks as our vet recommended so her body could adjust. None worked. In December, her gastrointestinal health was the worst it had ever been, she was sick almost every other day. We could not give her any treats except plain boiled chicken because treats upset her stomach. We switched her to this food. It took almost a month to see slight improvement, and another 2 months for her "bad tummy days" to decrease to only 1 time every week or two (which is why it's so important to keep your dog on one type of food for a month or so before you decide if it's working or not). It is now a year later, and she is doing AMAZING. Her stomach is great, she eats every day eagerly, and LOVES dinner time. Her coat is so shiny (her skin has always been fine, but this food made it even better). We can give her all kinds of treats now without issue, and her "bad tummy days" only happen once every few months, usually after something makes her really anxious like extended traveling. Her poop is solid and never bloody. She did gain a bit of weight on this food (went from 75 to 82) but we decreased her amount by a tiny bit and she lost the weight back off within about a month. This food is a little pricey, but Hill's is really quality food and if your dog is having stomach troubles, give it a try! It's been a godsend for us and our Bailey.
