HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG

Measuring is important as even dogs of the same breed can vary considerably in size.

Always measure your dog standing up with a soft measuring tape. If your dog normally
has a thick or dense coat that’s clipped short at the time of measuring, add enough extra
for coat re-growth.

Back Length
Place tape measure on your dog's shoulder blades and measure to the base of the tail.

Chest
Place tape measure on the dog's shoulder blades and measure right around the chest at
the deepest point. This is usually following the line from the shoulder blades downwards
just behind the front legs.

Neck
Measure around the dog's neck at the widest point where the neck meets the body.
